Terminology:

The terminology stated below are for the B&B Hoeve De Groe. B&B Hoeve De Groe: Will be known as B&B within this section. Guest: a person who stays at the B&B and is registered as such on the contact form of the B&B and / or other booking sites, and only when these have been confirmed. Main guest: the name of the person who has booked at the B&B with the contact form and / or via a booking site. The lead guest must be over 18 years of age and is responsible for his / her fellow guests. Manager: the person who has been appointed by the owner of the B&B, and acts on behalf of the owner of the B&B, manages the B&B. Third parties: any other legal person that is not a guest, manager or owner. Contact form: A form placed on the website www.hoevedegroe.nl which must be completed for a reservation request at the B&B. Reservation: confirmation by B&B of a contact form completed and submitted by the guest. Cancellation: Revoking or dissolving the final reservation within the applicable term.

 

1.0 General Conditions B&B Hoeve De Groe

1.1 The B&B is described in the website www.hoevedegroe.nl. This website has been compiled with the utmost care, but there may be differences between the text and / or photos presented on the website and the current situation at the B&B at the time of the visit. No rights can be derived by guests from such differences.

1.2 The minimum stay is one night this may be subject to local events where this may vary between 2 or 3 nights.

1.3 The B&B is accessible 24 hours a day and has its own separate entrance.

1.4 We reserve the right to terminate the visit of any person whose conduct is detrimental to the comfort of others. Please respect other guests and keep noise to a minimum after 10.00pm.

1.5 Smoking is not permitted in any indoor areas. Smoking is only permitted outside in designated areas.

1.6 Pets are welcome only by consultation with the owners of the B&B.

1.7 The rooms are suitable for two persons, it is possible to admit extra persons only by confirmation at the time of booking of the B&B owner.

1.8 Booking commences 4pm on the day of arrival, terminating 10.30am on the day of departure, out with these times do not qualify for a refund.

1.9 The B&B is suitable for children.

1.2.0 Guests can park their car in the parking lot in front of the B&B. Parking is at your own risk.

1.2.1 The use of the B&B BBQ is available after consultation with B&B owner, the BBQ must be left clean after use. Failure to do so will incur a minimum of € 20 for cleaning charges.

1.2.2 The use of the wellness facilities are available only after permission and payment by the owner.

1.2.3 The use of bicycles are available only after permission and payment to the owner (see also liability related to theft)

1.2.4 The grounds of the B&B are monitored 24/7 by a security camera system. These cameras are there for you and our safety.

 

2.0 Rates

2.1 The rates include water, electricity and heating. The rates include VAT and tourist tax.

2.2 The rates do not include the costs of patio heaters, cancellation and / or travel insurance and / or other costs.

2.3. Rates of the B&B are always non-binding and are subject to interim changes.

2.4 All statements on the website of the B&B www.hoevedegroe.nl and / or other sites are deemed to have been provided in good faith and are always subject to interim adjustments. The B&B is not bound by obvious errors on its website.

 

3.0 Reservation and Payment

3.1 The reservation is only final after confirmation by the B&B.

3.2 The Main Guest can choose to transfer the total accommodation costs to the B&B in one go.

3.3 An advance or the total accommodation costs must be paid in the name of B&B Hoeve De Groe.

3.4 The Main Guest is requested to pay any outstanding amount upon arrival. The B&B accepts: Cash, Contactless, Pin payments and most Credit Cards.

 

4.0 Cancellation

4.1 If cancellation is 7 days prior to arrival time (4 pm) on the agreed arrival date, any amount already paid will be refunded in full.

4.2 If cancellation is less than 7 days but more than 3 days before arrival, 50% of the total stay will be charged. If less than 3 days, 75% will be charged.

4.3 In order to qualify under 4.2, the cancellation must be notified to B&B in writing (by email or by post).

4.4 The B&B reserves the right to withdraw the definitive reservation without giving reasons, more than 48 hours prior to the arrival time (4 p.m.) of the agreed arrival date. A full refund will be given.

 

5.0 Damage

5.1 The guest must behave properly and use the B&B accommodation in accordance with the instructions for use given by the B&B or the owner / manager.

5.2 The main guest is legally liable for any damage caused by him or his fellow guests to the B&B buildings, inclusive of all items within the accommodation. Nor shall liability be accepted by the owners for accident or injury to guests, either within the property or outside

5.3 Any complaints or faults must be reported directly by the guest to the owner or the manager as soon as possible. Due to the limited period of stay, it may not be possible to repair such items during the period of stay. In the event damage was caused by the guest and their occupants, repair and / or replacement costs must be immediately reimbursed to the owner / manager at his first request.

 

6.0 Complaints

6.1 The guest is always entitled to submit grievances to the B&B in person or by email. The B&B will handle the complaint adequately and within an agreed timeframe. The complaint will be handled rationally and in fairness.

 

7.0 Force majeure

7.1 In case of force majeure, both of a permanent and temporary nature, the B&B is entitled to dissolve the agreement in whole or in part or to temporarily suspend it without the guest being able to claim fulfillment and / or compensation. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to: danger of war, war, uprising, acts of war, strikes, boycott, pandemic, failures in the energy circuit, in traffic or transport, government measures, scarcity of raw materials, natural disasters and all circumstances, extraordinary weather conditions, death of one of the owners or close relatives, etc. under which full or partial fulfillment of the agreement cannot be required of the B&B in reasonableness and fairness.

 

8.0 Liability

8.1 The B&B cannot be held liable for damage and / or loss of movable and immovable property suffered by the guest or third parties as a result of the stay in the accommodation; the guest indemnifies the B&B against claims in this regard. The B&B is not liable for malfunctions in and around the accommodation such as malfunctions and failure of electricity and water supplies and technical installations, construction work and / or road works not announced or not completed in the vicinity of the B&B.

8.2 The B&B can only be held liable for damage that is due to the gross negligence or negligence of the B&B.

8.3 Parking on the B & B’s own grounds is at the guest’s own risk. The B&B cannot be held liable for damage, loss or burglary of any vehicle of the B&B Guest.

8.4 Without prejudice to the provisions in 8.1 and 8.2, the liability of the B&B, if and in so far as the B&B is held legally liable for any reason with regard to the user agreement, is always limited to direct damage and any form of consequential damage is excluded. In addition, the liability of the B&B is always limited to the maximum amount that the insurer of the B&B will pay out in such a case.

8.5 Bicycle rental, in case of theft, the guest must be able to give the dedicated bicycle key back. If this cannot be done the guest will be charged 250 euros. If the key can be provided the amount charged will be 150 euros

 

9.0 Privacy

9.1 The B&B will treat all personal data provided or made known confidentially and will not share them with third parties. In line with the GDPR regulations any sensitive information is kept for 1 week after your stay with us and then details are destroyed

 

10. Final provision

10.1 Unless otherwise provided in rules of private international law, these terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Dutch law. Non-Dutch speaking guests are also deemed to have agreed to the terms and conditions.

10.2 All disputes arising from these conditions will be settled in the first instance by the competent court in the Netherlands, unless the rules of private international law provide otherwise.

10.3 Neither party may transfer its rights and obligations to third parties unless otherwise provided in these terms and conditions.

10.4 If and insofar as any provision in the user agreement and the present conditions should prove to be null and void, the other conditions will remain in force and the invalid article will be deemed to have been converted in such a way that it is brought in accordance with the parties’ apparent intentions.
